About RecoverJob SMS

RecoverJob is a SaaS platform that sends automated SMS messages on behalf of trades businesses (plumbers, HVAC, electricians, etc.). Before any follow-up messages are sent, RecoverJob first obtains explicit consent from the caller via SMS keyword opt-in. No marketing or follow-up messages are delivered until the recipient actively replies YES.

How Consent Works — SMS Keyword Opt-In

RecoverJob uses a keyword opt-in flow. The recipient must actively reply YES before any follow-up messages are sent. The steps below describe the exact experience every recipient goes through.

Step 1

Missed Call Trigger

When a customer calls a RecoverJob business partner and does not reach anyone, the call is detected by our system. No SMS is sent at this point.

Step 2

Opt-In Request — First & Only Message Sent Without Consent

Action required from recipient

The customer receives a single opt-in SMS asking for permission to follow up. This is the only message ever sent before consent is confirmed.

"Hi, this is [Business Name]. We noticed you called us recently. Would you like us to text you back regarding your missed call? Reply YES to connect or STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply."

Note: [Business Name] is dynamically replaced with the actual name of the specific business the customer called (e.g., Bob's Plumbing, ABC HVAC, Smith Electric). RecoverJob sends messages on behalf of that specific business only.

Step 3

Customer Action Required

The customer must actively reply YES to receive any further messages. If they do not reply, or reply STOP, no additional messages are ever sent. Consent is never assumed.

Step 4

Follow-Up — Sent Only After YES

After the customer replies YES, they receive one follow-up message from the business:

"Hi, this is [Business Name]. Sorry we missed your call. What can we help you with? Reply STOP to opt out."

Note: [Business Name] is dynamically replaced with the actual name of the specific business the customer called (e.g., Bob's Plumbing, ABC HVAC, Smith Electric). RecoverJob sends messages on behalf of that specific business only.

The customer's opt-in is recorded and their reply is forwarded to the business owner so they can respond directly.
