Service Description

RecoverJob provides automated SMS services for local service businesses — including plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and similar contractors. This includes an automated review request service, where after a completed job, businesses use RecoverJob to trigger a two-message flow: first, an opt-in text identifying the business is sent to the customer; second, a Google review link is delivered only if the customer replies YES. Customers who reply STOP or do not respond receive no further messages. RecoverJob also provides a missed call text back (MCTB) flow, which automatically sends a text message to callers whose calls go unanswered, and an AI qualifying agent that engages these callers by text to gather information and help qualify them as leads for the business.

Billing

Subscription & Pricing

• Pricing starts at $99/month; final pricing depends on the plan and features selected.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date of signup.
• Cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Pricing may change with 30 days' advance notice to your registered email address.
• Failed payments may result in temporary service suspension until the balance is resolved.

SMS Compliance

Automated Messaging & Consent

RecoverJob uses a two-message SMS flow with explicit keyword opt-in before delivering any review link. When a review request is triggered for a customer, RecoverJob sends a single opt-in message on behalf of the business:

A Google review link is sent only if the customer explicitly replies YES. If the customer replies STOP or does not reply, no further messages are sent. Consent is never assumed.

Consent to receive SMS messages is obtained only through an explicit opt-in reply from the customer. No messages are sent without prior consent. No recurring or ongoing promotional messages are sent — each message is a one-time event-based communication. Links sent via SMS are direct to the contractor's own review or booking pages. Public URL shorteners are never used.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of RecoverJob messaging complies with all applicable laws, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and CTIA guidelines.

Missed Call Text Back & AI Qualifying Agent

When a customer calls a contractor and the call goes unanswered, RecoverJob automatically sends a single opt-in SMS identifying the business and inviting the customer to reply YES to receive a text back. No further messages are sent without explicit consent.

Only after the customer replies YES will any additional messages be sent. An AI agent then sends up to 5 follow-up messages to gather service information including what service is needed, urgency, and property type. The customer then receives a closing message with next steps and an optional booking link.

By using RecoverJob, you agree that all automated messages are sent only after the recipient has explicitly replied YES to an opt-in request. You agree not to trigger review requests for any customer who did not receive an actual completed service from your business.

Contractor Responsibilities

Your Obligations

As the business using RecoverJob, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring that every customer you add to RecoverJob has received an actual completed service from your business before a review request is triggered.
• Compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws governing commercial SMS messaging in your use of the platform.
• Not using RecoverJob to send unsolicited messages to individuals who have not had a direct service relationship with your business.

Carrier Delivery

Carrier Delays & Delivery

RecoverJob transmits messages through third-party SMS carriers and telecommunications networks. We are not responsible for delays, failures, or errors in message delivery caused by carriers, network congestion, or factors outside our control. Carrier-related delivery issues are not grounds for a refund or service credit.

Acceptable Use

Prohibited Activity

You may not use RecoverJob to:

• Send review requests to individuals who have not received a completed service from your business.
• Transmit illegal, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Impersonate another business or individual.
• Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

Ownership

The RecoverJob platform, branding, and all associated software are the property of RecoverJob. You retain ownership of the business data and customer information you provide. By using the service, you grant RecoverJob a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the service.

Liability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoverJob shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits or business opportunities — arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

The service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered within any particular timeframe.

Changes & Governing Law

Modifications & Disputes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
