Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to operate the RecoverJob service:

• Business phone numbers — the phone number registered with RecoverJob by the business using our platform.
• Customer phone numbers — contact numbers provided by the business for customers who have received a completed service and may be asked for a review.
• Business information — business name, contact details, and account preferences provided at signup.
• Billing information — payment details processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data — how users interact with the RecoverJob dashboard, used to improve the product.

SMS Messaging

Automated Text Messages & Consent

RecoverJob sends automated SMS messages on behalf of service businesses (such as plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians) to their existing customers after a completed job. We use a two-message flow. First, an opt-in request is sent identifying the business and asking if the customer is willing to leave a review:

A Google review link is sent only if the customer replies YES. If the customer replies STOP or does not respond, no further messages are ever sent. Consent is never assumed.

Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. Opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently. For help, reply HELP.

Customer phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes and are used solely to deliver the review request service described above.

SMS Keyword Opt-In

SMS Keyword Opt-In

RecoverJob uses a keyword opt-in system to obtain explicit consent before sending a Google review link. Recipients must actively reply YES to receive any further communication.

• Opt-in keyword: YES
• Opt-out keyword: STOP (honored immediately and permanently)
• Help keyword: HELP
• Resubscribe keyword: START (to resubscribe after opting out)

Data Usage

How We Use Your Information

Information collected through RecoverJob is used exclusively to:

• Send automated SMS review requests to customers on behalf of the registered business.
• Deliver Google review links to customers who have opted in by replying YES.
• Track review request activity and response data within the business dashboard.
• Process subscription billing and send account-related communications.
• Improve the reliability and features of the platform.

Data Sharing

We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information — including customer phone numbers — to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

We share data only with service providers required to operate RecoverJob (such as SMS carriers and payment processors), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the service. All providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

Retention

Data Retention

We retain account and business data for as long as your account remains active. Customer contact records and message history are retained for up to 24 months. Billing records are retained as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Access, Correction & Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days. Customers may also remove themselves from all future messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Security

How We Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. No transmission method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Updates

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
